viewing a normal panorama you turn your head horizontally and the panorama has a cilindrical shape, the axis being vertical. When viewing chimneys, you  turn your head up and down, so here the cilinder on which the panorama is fixed, should be turned ninetety degrees. If you turn yor head horizontally to watch another chimney, then that cilinder should also rotate. the perspective of the first chimney should be deformed. That does not work. So here are ttwo cilinders only being glued together. That is the only possibility with paper, you cannot make a sphere out of it.(unless you take infinite thin paper strips.)
