Paintings are realistic with some popartistic details. Photos are being used as basic for a painting. The technique that is being used, dates back from centuries ago. Starting with an underpainting. This technique offers the possibilty to make paintings detailed and ( close to) perfect.

2023The sanseveria has finally arrived on the ground floor. By an incredible coincidence, the sanseveria hits a teapot standing there on a table. The two tea drinking ladies are not yet aware of the traumatic experience they will have less than 1 second later and which will change their lives forever. But that's another adventure.

2022The chair excels in geometric simplicity, parallel lines and planes. the seat as the ceiling of a flattened pantheon. The only drawback, it is not very comfortable.

2022The tulips are folded from zinc, shadow and tulip are one whole. The length of the shadow is determined by the location of the tulip and the time of day. It is evening.

Dynamic perspective (perspectieve never static since youmove your eyes)
2018viewing a normal panorama you turn your head horizontally and the panorama has a cilindrical shape, the axis being vertical. When viewing chimneys, you turn your head up and down, so here the cilinder on which the panorama is fixed, should be turned ninetety degrees. If you turn yor head horizontally to watch another chimney, then that cilinder should also rotate. the perspective of the first chimney should be deformed. That does not work. So here are ttwo cilinders only being glued together. That is the only possibility with paper, you cannot make a sphere out of it.(unless you take infinite thin paper strips.)

2012The bricks layout of the chimneys is generated with a very old qbasic program. Next the chimneys are situated in a gemütliches scenery.
Aerotransglobo
2011Painting with different layers, each cloud is a layer. The layers add more depth to the image. Between the layers there is a fuselage of an aeroplane. Behind the windows there is an image of a dinner of 80 decently dressed gentlemen, illuminated by some tiny lights.
